About the Company : A New York-based fixed-income asset manager is looking for an experienced Investment Data Specialist to manage the daily investment data oversight and related trading data reconciliation activities. You must have a deep understanding of bank loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and other complex fixed income structures.

About the Role : The role is responsible for:

• Overseeing the firm’s middle office fixed income trade data capture and workflow for accuracy
• Oversee, manage, and develop data integrity controls
• Resolve all data incidents
• Oversee and manage trading positions and cash reconciliation processes
• Strive to improve investment data accuracy across the firm
• Identify and develop data quality improvement projects

Qualifications : 4+ years of fixed income operations and/or fixed income data management operations

Required Skills :

• Deep understanding of the fixed income markets, including bond math, portfolio accounting, and underlying mechanisms, rather than simply processing tasks
• Demonstrated knowledge of structured credit trade lifecycle (CLOs)
• Demonstrated experience with fixed income data reconciliation systems and platforms (Charles River)
• Advanced Excel skills working with massive amounts of data and creating analytical reports
• Ability to communicate across multiple departments and with senior management

Preferred Skills :

• Strongly prefer experience working with credit agreements, customized deal term sheets, and translating the data into the firm’s trading operations and workflows

Pay range and compensation package : Base $140K-$150K plus an attractive performance-based cash bonus
