Job Description

The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing in-person and remote project management activities across multiple regions, with a home base in Arizona. This role involves managing project schedules, vendor performance, providing progress updates, supporting bidding efforts, and supervising in-house crews to ensure high-quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.

The Field Manager must be based in Arizona and will be required to travel regularly to local job sites as well as to job sites in other assigned regions. Reliable transportation and the ability to use a personal vehicle locally and travel to assigned regions are required.

Essential Functions and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Driving/travelling to job sites to meet with trade partners, agents, and client representatives to discuss, develop, and document scopes of work. Including providing photographs, measurements, pricing, and written scopes in excel/cloud-based software.
  • Supervise in-house crew comprised of crew lead and crew members for completion of assigned projects in a timely manner
  • Conduct home inspections as necessary to create a thorough scope of work that follows client specifications around clean, safe, and functional conditions.
  • Monitor and update requested bids and work in progress for each assigned job/PO utilizing cloud-based software on company-provided devices.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings with trade partners, vendors, and suppliers as necessary to discuss approved scope of work, identify and submit potential change orders and establish project completion timeline.
  • Create and maintain field construction schedules on all assigned job/POs.
  • Daily/weekly site visits as necessary to document progress of the approved scope of work and provide photographs of repairs/improvements using cloud-based software and company-provided devices.
  • Facilitate the resolution of job-related challenges and delays on all approved work orders with assigned contractors/vendors/suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Facilitate any needed documentation or approvals for permitting, HOAs, property managers, etc. to assist our trade partners and office team.
  • Assist with sourcing, recruiting and interviewing trade partners, vendors and suppliers in assigned market area.
  • Train & coach trade partners in bidding and in-progress and completion processes of all repair/remodeling projects.
  • Complete quality inspections throughout the life of the scope with trade partners to ensure all work is complete, correct, and meets workmanship standards.
  • Complete home presentations/final walk-throughs with agents and client representatives to review approved scope of work, all finished tasks, and address any issues/corrections to achieve job sign-off.
  • Utilize cloud-based software to communicate with internal support team and attend company meetings

  • Must live in Arizona (Phoenix area is ideal)
  • Commitment to quality

  • Experience in MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Teams & Word are essential
  • Professional verbal and written skills
  • Customer Service/Client relationship phone and in-person skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, & leadership skills
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency & driving deadlines in an autonomous and fast-paced environment
  • Ensure that a safe, secure and healthy work environment is maintained on all jobs

  • Minimum of 5 years of residential construction knowledge, current market pricing and terminology
